recent work
Since starting Prue Adams Media in 2021, I’ve worked with a broad range of organisations.
My bread-and-butter, so to speak, is researching and producing videos and podcasts for the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) under the umbrella of Anvil Media - Australia’s leading agriculture extension media company.
I’ve also been a one-woman-band - filming, recording audio, writing and presenting three international documentaries in Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Canada and Switzerland. They’ve been broadcast on national television.
I’ve researched, edited and presented a 9-part podcast series on invasive animals and plants and fronted webinars and training videos for the wine industry and Churchill Trust.
And I have found myself in demand as a conference MC, an Awards presenter and public speaker.
As Vice President of Rural Media and Communicators SA/NT, a committee member on the Australian Council of Agricultural Journalists and an active attendee of International Federation of Agricultural Journalists congresses, I’m deeply committed to furthering the understanding of farming and rural communities.
… and I’m always looking for the next opportunity.

The Quiet Curse, Landline ABC-TV 2015
Q Fever is a debilitating and poorly understood disease transferred from animals to humans. It can be responsible for all manner of pain.
It’s present in almost every country of the world, yet Australia is the only place with a vaccine. This was a story I researched, wrote and presented in 2015. It won me the SA Rural Journalist of the Year title and the prestigious International Federation of Agricultural Journalists Star Prize - essentially the world’s best agricultural journalist, in 2016.
It’s an issue I have followed for 20 years.
Meet the Ferals, ABC iview 2020
This is a nine-part series I researched, wrote, produced and presented, specifically for YouTube and ABC iview.
At last count, it had well over 4 million views.
All content came from Landline archives.
